During any location photographic shoot your Photographer will work with natural light and reflectors, remember that light can sometimes change very rapidly, so you will need be prepared to follow directions quickly. If you choose to have your photo shoot in the studio, with clever use of lighting techniques stunning results can be achieved.

A brief consultation is important before the photo session starts as it provides us with a golden opportunity to help our clients feel more at ease in front of the camera with a more natural relaxed expression. Children and young adults are very natural and present the perfect opportunity for magnetic and dramatic images, however a legal guardian must always be present for anybody under the age of 18 years having a photo shoot or recording session in the studio.

A professional headshot should always endeavour to be an honest representation of the individual. The Photographer must always take the time to connect with his or her subject to help convey the personality of the person with a keen understanding of how the image may be perceived by a casting Director or Agent.
Black and White images are most certainly powerful and can create a dramatic impact that is often difficult to achieve with colour. However the truth is most agents and Managers will only accept coloured headshots.
